MIST Research Excellence: Best Paper Award at IEEE SPICSCON 2025
The Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) is pleased to announce that a conference paper titled “Leveraging Power Spectrum-based Features and Machine Learning for Resource-Efficient Cough Classification in Respiratory Disease Monitoring” has been awarded the Best Paper Award at the IEEE International Conference on Signal Processing, Information, Communication and Systems 2025 (IEEE SPICSCON 2025). The paper was authored by Level-4 students of the EECE Department, MIST—Sadman Rahman, Irtiza Mohtasim, and Saquib Farhan—and supervised by Maj Kazi Newaj Faisal, PhD, EME.
