Webinar on “Career in Aerospace and Aviation Industries” by AIAA MIST Student Branch
On 27 July 2025, the Department of Aeronautical Engineering, MIST, successfully conducted a webinar titled “Career in Aerospace and Aviation Industries” under the banner of the newly established MIST Student Branch of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). The session featured two distinguished alumni: Mr. Suvessa Chakraborty, APQP Lead & Senior Supplier Quality Engineer at The Boeing Company (AE-01 Batch), and Dr. Akhter Mahmud Nafi, Astrodynamics Research Scientist at NASA GLIMR Project, University of New Hampshire (AE-02 Batch). Both speakers shared their inspiring journeys from their academic years at MIST to their current positions in the global aerospace industry. Their talks provided invaluable career guidance, industry insights, and motivation to aspiring aerospace professionals. The webinar was attended by 112 enthusiastic students and faculty members, marking a successful initiative by the AIAA MIST Student Branch in fostering global academic and industry engagement.
